The MIL-SPEC line of scopes are adapted versions of the proven ATACR™ family. Nightforce MIL-SPEC riflescopes undergo additional testing to ensure that they will perform reliably, repeatedly, and without fail, when combat conditions are at their worst. This is a limited production run of 300 units of the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Squad Variable Power Scope (S-VPS) which is part of the Miniature Aiming Systems-Day Optic (MAS-D) program. This includes a MIL-SPEC ATACR™ 1-8x24mm F1 with Horus TREMOR8™ Reticle and includes the accompanying accessories, mounting kit, tools, and manuals all in the commemorative hard case.

The Nightforce S-VPS MILSPEC ATACR 1-8X24 F1 Clone is a heavy duty, precision optic virtually identical to the units deployed by the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). These limited edition riflescopes deliver the same legendary performance as their non-MILSPEC counterparts, and come with a Nightforce mount and are finished with a tan, hardcoat anodized finish for maximum corrosion and weather resistance. Like all of the optics in the ATACR 1-8x24 family, the MILSPEC version features pristine ED glass, low-profile adjustments and legendary bomb-proof reliability. It comes equipped with TReMoR8 first focal plane reticle composed of a precise center dot in the middle of a semi-circle, with horizontal and vertical holdover increments to compensate for bullet drop and wind drift.
